High Density Urethane Products
Precision
Board,
(PBHT),
is a rigid, high temperature urethane tooling board that is designed for
Prototype Machining, Prepreg Composite Layup Tooling, Vacuum Form Tooling,
Tool Proofing, Pattern Making, and Master Model Making.
PBHT is designed to perform at 300°F for 24 hours and does not outgas or affect prepreg resin cure. PBHT has a low CTE.
Precision Board PBHT comes in standard sizes of 20" X 60", 24" X 60", 4' X 8', 4' X 10', 5' X 8', and 5' X 10'. Thicknesses range from 1/2" to 20". Other special sizes are available upon request. Densities are available in 4, 6, 10, 12, 15, 18, 20, 30 and 40 pounds per cubic foot. Other special densities available upon request.
Precision Board, (PBLT), Precision Board, PBLT, is a rigid urethane tooling board that is designed for Prototype Machining, Prepreg Composite Layup Tooling, Vacuum Form Tooling, Tool Proofing, Pattern Making, and Master Model Making.
PBLT is designed to perform at 200°F and does not outgas or affect prepreg resin cure. PBLT has a low CTE.

Density Urethane
Application:
Precision Board is non-abrasive
and can be machined and cut with HSS cutters, or any standard cutting
tool.
PBHT can be bonded to itself
or other substrates using Coastal Enterprises' single component urethane
adhesives: PB Bond-240 and PB Fast Set, or EP-76 epoxy adhesive. Please
refer to PB Bond-240, PB Fast Set, and EP-76 data sheets for particulars.

PB
Fast Set is an amber colored, one
part, urethane adhesive that fully cures in 30 minutes. It works well
for indoor or outdoor applications. It cures from liquid to solid with
a slight amount of moisture.
PB Bond-240 is an amber colored, one part, urethane adhesive that works well for indoors or outdoor applications. It cures from a liquid to a solid state with a slight amount of moisture.
EP-75 Epoxy Bonding Adhesive is a two component epoxy putty used to structurally bond Precision Board to itself, as a sign mounting adhesive, or wherever a high strength epoxy is needed. It is suitable for interior, as well as exterior applications.
Filling and Smoothing Products
FSC-88
WB is a sprayable, brushable, or rollable waterbased primer/filler
that is used to fill and smooth Precision Board prior to finishing with
paints and coatings.
FSC-360 WB is a waterbased crack filling and repair material specifically formulated for use on Precision Board high density urethane (HDU). It also works well on wood, metal and adheres to most plastics.
Surface Coating Products
PB
Hard Coat is a rock hard protective coating. Easy
to create smooth or textured surface (ie. Stipple and wood grain).
Great for making Precision Board abuse proof.
TSF-45 Texture Surface Finish is an extremely tough, flexible coating that has been compounded specifically for use in creating texture surfaces on Precision Board HDU.
PB-Resin Clear coat for creating a fast ultra smooth surface. No Priming or sanding required.
