No Outgassing

PBLT and PBHT have been formulated to eliminate outgassing created during the layup tool heating cycle. Other urethanes give off a vapor when heating.

This vapor created during heating can attack the catalyst in the composite laminate's resin which keeps the resin from curing. This can result in uncured areas of the composite laminate as well as major damage to the tool.

Be sure to use a non-outgassing mold release for the same reason. Check with your mold release supplier for recommendations.
